"I just wanted to take the time to write to you to tell you how grateful I was to have found you and to have Alex come to see us twice (+ one phone call). My only regret is I didn’t reach out sooner. I wish our breastfeeding journey had worked out, and I think that I would have had a better chance of success if I had reached out as soon as I started having issues. This past weekend I was readmitted to the hospital and was worried that the success we've had with breastfeeding was going to come to an end as I was going to be away from my baby. However when I returned home, my son and I didn't skip a beat with breastfeeding and I know that was due to all of the lessons and best practices that I learned from Alex. During my absence my husband supplemented with formula and pumped breastmilk and upon my return my son still latched on without any difficulties.
